The Angel Inn is a 16th Century coaching inn set in the picturesque village of Wangford, Suffolk. It has 7 charming guest rooms all with an individual touch, complete with en-suite. The cosy main bar creates an intimate atmosphere and offers real ales and traditional good quality 'Pub Grub' at a reasonable price.
Diane and Steve Mabbutt would like to welcome you to the Angel Inn. Steve has a wealth of experience running the bar and tending to the cellar whilst Diane's love for cooking has proven a great success with diners.
RESTAURANT
The Angel Inn prides itself on offering good quality home cooking, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The menu provides a good selection to suit all tastes and uses local produce wherever possible. Childrens menu's and "Light Bites" are available and naturally, Sunday roast.

ROOMS
The Inn offers guests a choice of 7 en-suite rooms, each with its own character and style. Room 7 is a twin ground floor room and allows well behaved pets to stay with owners. All the rooms are equipped with central heating and tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary wine.
Guests are welcomed with an optional complimentary pot of tea and cakes to allow them to relax after their journey.
Prices are per night and include full English breakfast.

OUT AND ABOUT
The Angel Inn is perfectly situated for those wishing to explore the East Anglian sites. A stones throw from the Inn is the entrance to the Henham Estate grounds, offering wonderful rambling walks through some of Suffolk's finest countryside.
The seaside town of Southwold is less than 3 miles away - noted for its unspoilt beauty with wonderful beachs, harbour, lighthouse and shops, and home to the famous Adnams brewery. Sailing, fishing and golf can be enjoyed in and around Southwold.
A short drive down the coast and you will discover the town of Dunwich - once a thriving medieval coastal port - which has subsequently been reclaimed by the sea.
Half a mile or so to the west is Uggeshall Equestrian Centre, which has over 200 acres of prime riding country for riders of all experience. Fully qualified staff. BHS approved.
Not forgetting to take a a stroll around the peaceful village of Wangford, with it's village shop and parish church. There is still a strong sense of community here and you will find the locals are very welcoming.
