The King's Head Inn serves good, genuinely home-made food for lunch and supper, and you can wash it down with a pint of Adnams Bitter, Broadside, Draught Guinness or a glass of Prosecco.

Situated in the centre of Orford on the lovely Suffolk coast, it is open every day of the year and parking is free.

All rooms are cosy, clean, smart pub rooms with excellent en suite facilities.

They sell at unpretentious prices, namely £75 per night for double occupancy for a minimum 2 night stay, but we do offer single night stays at £85. Breakfast is a classy version of a full English, with Lane Farm bacon, Procter's sausage and free-range eggs, with mushroom and tomato.

Examples of other lunch fayre - Bubble & Suffolk ham with fried egg, Orford smoked mackerel salad, historic beer-battered Orford-caught cod and chunky chips, paninis, door-step sandwiches, vegetarian quiche and pasta dishes.

Dinner - Lamb shank , confit of duck leg, freshly caught fish of the day such as skate, sea bass, plaice.....


Puddings are fantastic home-made classics - bread & butter pudding, treacle tart, chocolate fondant, Criterion ice creams........
