Ravenwood Hall Shooting Break from £161 per person based on two people sharing. Indulge in some country pursuits with a Clay Pigeon Shooting offer. The offer includes an overnight Friday night stay at Ravenwood Hall, a three-course dinner, full English breakfast and a private clay pigeon shooting lesson at Lakenheath Shooting Ground (for beginners and experienced guns). All shooting equipment and up to 50 clays and cartridges per person are included in the cost. A private taxi to the shooting grounds can be arranged at additional cost. Terms and Conditions Apply. Seeped in history with the origins in the reign of Henry VIII, Ravenwood Hall Hotel is one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets. Set within 7 acres of secluded and tranquil Suffolk countryside just outside Bury St Edmunds, the Hall has been restored over the years and retains ornate carved oak structure, Inglenook fireplaces and rare 15th century wall paintings. The Hall offers roaring log fires surrounded by an eclectic mix of comfy sofas and chairs throughout for the chilly days, or a pool side retreat in the Summer.

Ravenwood Hall has 14 double rooms. The main Hall has seven delightful rooms, each individually designed to reflect the historic surroundings, with antique furniture and gorgeous bathrooms and many with four poster beds. In addition the seven charming rooms in the Mews, converted from stables, offer contemporary elegance and with five rooms on the ground floor each with their own little terrace. Children and well behaved dogs also welcome.
Dining at Ravenwood Hall is relaxed yet inspiring. The two rosette status restaurant offers menus which utilise many local ingredients in addition to home smoked meats and fish.
