The Brudenell Hotel is really rather special. Situated at the southern end of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, close to the Sailing Club, it is a haven of peace and relaxation, allowing you to escape the pressures of daily life.
The Brudenell’s 42 bedrooms are all furnished to a very high standard and are decorated in a light, airy and relaxing style. Most have glorious views of the sea or the River Alde and its surrounding marshland - some of the finest in Suffolk. For our guests' convenience, WiFi is available throughout the hotel.
In addition to the restaurant's award of two AA rosettes, The Brudenell has also achieved an AA quality rating of 87%.
The hotel’s décor has calming colours, including cool sea-blues and sunshine-yellows, it has a Cape Cod feel making it warm and welcoming.
RestaurantAs a guest at the hotel, the convenience of having the restaurant on the doorstep is not the only good reason to try The Bru. Head Chef, Justin Kett, who spent time cooking and working abroad before settling at the Michelin starred Castle Hotel at Taunton, has returned to his Suffolk roots. Justin's style is simple and unpretentious and he is passionate about cooking with fresh seasonal produce, which he sources from carefully selected local suppliers. A must is his delicious fresh fish and seafood dishes, as well as Game during the Winter months.
